Ini Edo but born Iniobong Edo Ekim is a Nigerian actress and philanthropist who has over 200 movies to her credit since her emergence into the Nigerian movie industry. She is 38 years of age and was born on 23 April 1982
She is from Akwa Ibom St ate and an Ibibio. Growing up, Ini Edo was raised from a strict family where the mother was a teacher and the father a church elder. She is the second born child from a family of four with 3 girls and a boy.
Educational Background
Ini Edo holds a Diploma in Theatre Arts from the University of Uyo and further had her first degree at the University of Calabar where she studied English. In 2014, she got a scholarship to study law at National Open University in Nigeria.
Career
Ini Edo acting career started in the year 2013 as she debut in the movie ”Thick Madam”. She rose to prominence in 2014 for her acting role in the movie ”World’s Apart” which took the entire African movie industry by storm.
