Kwaisey Pee, known for his soothing Highlife rhythms, has made a shocking revelation which goes contrary to a popular belief held by many people concerning musicians. The legendary musician suggested that when you see a musician living flamboyantly, that does not translate to wealth.

The singer revealed he is so broke that he sometimes borrows people’s cars to drive, he has revealed. In an exclusive interview with Lexis Bill on Joy Fm, Kwaisey Pee revealed that things are really tough for him financially. He said, “As for money, I’m telling you I even need your money. I’m broke as hell. I wouldn’t come and sit here, to be honest with you and before God and man and say you, it’s super for me, it’s not [because] at the end of the day music is not selling anymore in terms of CDs.

Like the way we used to do it back in the day, some of us were actually relying on CD sales and it’s no more. I don’t get too many shows. Most of the time all the shows that you see me on is my own effort that I try to put some show together.”

This is a real eye-opener for those who rush to do music thinking the world which rotates around musician is a jolly one.
