Bukom Banku has predictably started talking big ahead of his famous rematch with Samir Basie which will come off later in June, 2018.

At a presser in Accra on Thursday, the two camps came to an agreement for a June 30th date at a yet to be disclosed venue.

The fight between the two Ghanaian boxers attracted the biggest patronage and the bout, which was staged in October 2017, also lived to expectation.

Bukom Banku was given the beating of his life before he was ultimately knocked out in the 7th round, much to the surprise of many Ghanaians.

The maverick boxer has promised to avenge his loss in a grand style when they meet again.

He said:

I am ready for the fight. Bastie won the first bout but I am assuring you that I will win this. I promise to give him [Bastie] a rematch if I win.

His opponent (Samir) had a different view:

I won the first fight and I will beat him again in the rematch, I will not talk plenty. My fans should be rest assured that Kamoko will go down again.
