The founder and leader of the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG), Percival Kofi Akpaloo has said that when he’s elected into power, he will motivate the youth to do more songs like Stonebwoy’s song “Putuu”.

Speaking in an interview on Hot 93.9 FM’s “Maakye” show on Wednesday 29th July 2020 that Stonebwoy’s song is a song of creativity. He has however endorsed the song of Stonebwoy and urged Ghanaians to vote him into power to help the youth in the creative arts.

“I have no problem with the ‘Putuu’ song…The lyrics do not always matter, if the song has a good beat. Anybody in Liberia would dance to it regardless of their understanding–as long as the song is danceable… Stonebwoy has done well… It is on the hearts of the IPP to invest in the youth when we come into power so that they can come up with songs like this and go international” he said.
