The Inspector-General of Police, James Oppong Boanuh has disclosed that they are ready to maintain law and order “Before, During and After” this year’s polls.

He explained that they’re prepared to also ensure that the elections come off without any violent.

He urged the youth in particular not to allow any politician to use them for their personal gains.

He however stated that there’s a need for his outfit to collaborate with other security agencies and the citizenry to make sure the election is not mounting violence.

He paid a courtesy call on the Savannan Regional Minister Salifu Adam Braimah in Damongo and added that the citizens must be prepared to keep the peace as they should not allow politics to divide them.

He indicated that Politics is about a contest of ideas and not about who is more violent than the other urging the young ages to learn tolerantly and give peace chance.
