Lynx Entertainment’s signee and Highlife/ Hiplife singer Kidi has revealed it’s his wish everyone emerges as winners in the forthcoming Vodafone Ghana Music Award.

He said he wish that every artiste who was nominated in the Artist of the Year category in the upcoming 22nd edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards will come out as a winner but unfortunately, there will be only one winner.
This was a response to a question asked by Ohemaa Woyeje during her interview session with the ‘Enjoyment’ hit maker at the Accra based Angel FM when the artist was asked between him and his label artist Kuami Eugene, who deserve to win that category.
Kidi stated he is not a musician who is so much into winning awards to prove that he is at the ‘mountain top’. He added that everyone who is in that category deserved to win the award and he won’t be disappointed if he doesn’t win.
Kidi received nine nominations in the upcoming musical events which is aimed at rewarding artists for the work done under a stipulated time frame. His nominations includes Best Afrobeatz/ Afropop artist, Most Popular Song (Enjoyment), EP of the Year, Most Popular Song (Say Cheese), Best Afrobeatz/ Afropop Song, Best Highlife Song, Collaboration of the Year, Best Male Vocalist and the almighty Artist of the Year.
Kidi started the year on a very good note after winning a couple of awards at the prestigious 3 Music Awards including the ultimate award of the night, Artist of the Year. He is tipped as the most favourite artist to overthrown his colleague label mate Kuami Eugene for the 2021 VGMA Artist of the Year award.
