Well known critic of ex-President Mahama and the NDC government, Rt. Rev Professor Emmanuel Martey has stated categorically that he will not be indifferent if President Akuffo Addo repeats the same mistake the NDC administration made.
The former moderator told GHOne before the inauguration thus, “I am a servant of God and I am obliged to speak the truth. God saw what was happening to us in the past, we spoke against it and we were insulted. We thank God he has listened to us. Some of us will speak today, tomorrow and in the future against ills of society.”
Rt. Rev Professor was dominant critic of the Mahama administration, prompting many neutrals to label him as a politician in a cassock. He made startling revelations about NDC government, including a ploy to bribe him to keep his mouth shut.
We believe this pronouncement from him will indeed demonstrate to every Ghanaian he is not partial after all and that he has the country’s interest at heart.
