During an interview on the United Showbiz aired on UTV, Controversial dancehall artiste, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr., popularly known as Shatta Wale has stated that he will not be releasing his GOG Album as planned.

According to him, he has been disrespected and tagged as a bad influence by some industry players and bloggers in Ghana so, therefore, he will not be releasing his album again.

Shatta Wale stated this while exchanging words with other guests present on the show over his recent State of the Industry address.

He said that he will be releasing songs one by one as he pleases and not to the satisfaction of the industry seems since he has been tagged as a bad influence.

Recall, Shatta Wale during his State of the Industry address stated that he was able shoot three music videos and also record five songs on his GOG Album.

He revealed that he collaborated with Nigeria’s Naira Marley, Jamaica’s Popcaan, and other artistes of global repute. However, he further revealed that among these artistes is a multiple Grammy award-winning artiste he has refused to mention his name but would leave his fans to guess until the release of the long-awaited album.

Well, we know Shatta Wale only spoke out of anger due to how events turn out during the show. Shatta Wale wasn’t so pleased with some of the comments from the other guests, especially with how Arnold Asamoah Baidoo criticized him how he carries himself in the industry yet seems to be one of the confused and inconsistent artistes in Ghana, according to Arnold.
