Our favourite actor cum musician, Kwadwo Nkansah otherwise known in showbizness circles as Lil Win says he does his own makeup on set.
According to him, any role he plays, he just takes a mirror and make up himself and leave the money to the makeup artiste without taking any extra pay for himself.
He further added that, people in the industry be dedicated to their call.
‘I’m on set 24/7. I single-handedly do my makeup on set. When I play the role of an old man, I do my own makeup; you can ask anybody. I take the mirror and do everything. That extra-service is not added to my pay. I leave that to be given to the makeup artist,’ he said.
‘Whatever work it is that you do, you should know that it’s from God; and that’s where you make your ends meet so you have to be very dedicated and ‘kill’ yourself for the job…I wake up at 6am go on set, close around 12am and go to the studio to record until about 4am before I go back home to sleep. If you don’t ‘kill’ yourself for God to see that you are grateful for the talent he’s given you, he’s going to take it away from you,’ he told host Kwesi Dope.
