Jennifer Lomotey hitmaker, Kurl Songx, says he was on a ₵90 payroll before hitting stardom and has expressed extreme gratitude to God for bringing him this far.
The product of the MTN hit maker also used the opportunity to thank Sarkodie for featuring on the song. According to him, the BET award-winning raised the profile of the song. He made this disclosure when he appeared on Delay’s programme, the Delay Show.
Kurl Songx revealed that he was an elementary teacher before he ventured into music and that he was earning a ridiculous ₵90.00 before fame knocked at his door.
Asked if he knew the Jennifer Lomotey song would be a hit, he said:
I never thought I would gain that exposure. I knew I would get somewhere but I was much dumbfounded.
