Highly spirited Gospel artist Cece Twum has disclosed in an interview how her husband was shy to propose marriage to her at a tender age.
In an interview on Restoration with Stacy Amoateng, Ceccy Twum disclosed that her husband Prophet Alex Twum proposed to her through her mother. “I married at age 19. My husband and I were in the same church. I was a singer and hadn’t even prayed about marriage. My interest was in singing.”

According to Cece, her husband spoke to her mother about marrying her and she confronted him on why he couldn’t have the balls to ask her instead. “I think he talked to my mother because I was young. I never thought about marrying a pastor. I didn’t want to be restricted. I wanted a free life but my husband is not an oppressor. He gives room to operate.” she added.
