Hypocrisy and holier than attitude has clouded the faculties of some gospel musicians in this country. They have made it clear that darkness and light have nothing in common hence cannot freely mingle or collaborate with secular musicians.
However few gospel musicians continue to show maturity and exhibit the true concept of Christianity by openly declaring their admiration for their counterparts ‘on the other side.’
One of them is Evangelist Diana Asamoah, who is noted for her strong affiliation to the incumbent government. The veteran musician revealed her love for Sarkodie’s song and predictably, this did not sit down well with some of religious zealots.
She wrote:
‘Love his songs cos it’s always talking about God’
