Brother Brother hitmaker, Bisa K.Dei, who won multiple awards in the 2016 edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, has explained how he got ‘bounced’ by the organizers this year.
According to the serial hitmaker, he filed for nominations at this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards but he was shocked to find out that his name didn’t appear in any of the categories when the final list of nominees was released.
The Highlife artiste in an interview with Maxwell Amoofia on Joy News expressed his disappointments for not getting nominations at the 2018 VGMAs.
He said:
I did file for the nomination but…I have been disappointed since.
Bisa K’dei also added that he should have won 2016 ‘Artiste of the Year’ award which went to rapper E.L
Everybody was saying [I should have won the Artiste of the Year] I thought I should have gotten something.
There is better luck next time. Next year is there. I am going to try my best to work hard so that I’ll be there next year.
