High life musician Kojo Antwi

High life Maestro Kojo Antwi says he does not listen to his songs immediately it hits the market.

The ‘Akonoba’ crooner emphasized that he listens and enjoys his songs before they are released into market but he doesn’t go back to listen to them after it’s out

Kojo Antwi, who was rewarded the Artiste of the Decade at the 2009 Ghana Music Awards, said that has been his lifestyle since time immemorial.

Sitting down with TV3’s Newsday, the ‘Music Man’ as he is fondly called intimated that he currently has one of such unreleased projects he enjoys.

”I don’t listen to my music when I release them.” Kojo Antwi said, and continued” When I release them they are for you. I enjoy the one’s that I’m working on and are not released. I currently have one that I’m yet to release”

He added “whenever I listen to it, I have goosebumps. That’s how I know it’ll work on the people,”

Known for songs like Dadie Anoma, Adiepena, Mr Music Man, Odo Maayea, Akonoba, Ammrika, Rocklyn, Bome Nkomode, Mfa Me Koho, Adinkra, Asaboni, divulged that he would have been a politician if he was not doing music.

He observed that if he had followed his political ambition he would not have vied for presidency.
