Petrah is a young and beautiful upcoming musician who is currently signed to Manner Records. She has been speaking to the media lately concerning Ghana’s music industry. In one of those interviews she stated that she won’t collaborate with any local artiste because she wants her brand to soar beyond the scope of the country.
To that effect she has a single with Reekado Banks of Marvin Records. In a recent interview she had with Accra based Radio XYZ, the singer revealed something which will certainly prompt a reply from the subject of her discussion.
She revealed to the interviewer that she writes her songs (perhaps a dig at Kaakie and Mzvee who do not write their own songs). When asked by the host if she is willing to write songs for her fellow artistes, Petrah stated that she would like to write songs for MzVee and Ebony if given the chance.
The host who was curious to know the song titles questioned the singer and she hilariously answered “‘Diva War’ for MzVee and ‘Naked chick’ for Ebony”.
We know this is a harmless joke but since female entertainers in this country cannot rise above pettiness, we trust Mzvee and Ebony to reply in the same breath.
