Ghanaian Gospel artiste Gifty Hopeson Adorye, known popularly as Empress Gifty has said he got married to her husband Hopeson Adorye after 3 months of dating.
In an interview with Stacey on her show, Restoration, she opened up on her failed marriage with her first husband Mr. Osei. According to Gifty, she got depressed when her former husband demanded a divorce.

“In 2012, he told me he wanted a divorce. I didn’t believe it. What will people say; I had bragged about my husband, I made people believe I have the best marriage ever, I am okay, I am the best woman ever! So who was I going to call to explain the situation too? I was depressed. I don’t take blood tonics but I was gaining weight… I could cry from morning to evening in my room” she told Stacey.
However, opening up on her marriage with her current husband Hopeson Adorye, she stated that their marriage is heavenly made and she is ever grateful to God. She also added that her husband is a mature man and she’s glad she got married to him.
