Ghanaian Hiplife/ Hip Hop artist Kofi Jamar has quizzed the time Ghanaians will consider him as a ‘virus’ when it comes to dropping viral songs.

The Kumasi based rapper in 2020 dropped one of the most viral songs under the calendar year titled ‘Ekorso’ which features colleague Hiplife/ Hip Hop rappers Ypee and Yaw Tog and still one of the hit songs in the country right now.
Although Kofi Jamar was not new to the Ghanaian music industry, the ‘Ekorso’ song projected him to the next level of his musical career as the song was dropped at the time of the ‘Kumerican’ trend which took the world and social media by storm.
He will be playing a very big role in the upcoming 22nd Vodafone Ghana Music Awards where he has been nominated in a couple of categories including EP of the Year, Hip Hop Song of the Year, Best Collaboration of the Year, Dancehall/ Reggae Song of the Year, Best New Artiste and the almighty Vodafone Most Popular Song of the Year.
After going viral with ‘Ekorso’ Kofi Jamar is still on the radar after dropping his new song titled ‘They Don’t Know’ which is also receiving a lot of airplay and attention from Ghanaians and music lovers.
In reacting to his progress in the Ghanaian music industry Kofi Jamar has quizzed when he will be crowned as the ‘King of Viral Songs’.
