Some hooligans have set ablaze Afam Divisional Police Office in Oyigbo Local Government area (LGA) during the protests today.
The police Area Command in the council was also reportedly destroyed by these unknown thugs. Reports also say that the residents in Elelenwo, Oil Mill, Ikoku, and Mile One area of Port Harcourt. When the fire was set ablaze in the police station, residents were seen running helter-skelter while shop owners also locked up their shops.

A Source in Mile One said he heard gunshots in his area when the police station was set ablaze. Rivers Commissioner of Police (CP) Joseph Mukan and spokesman Nnamdi Omoni are yet to respond to the incident.
