One of the few female musicians who worked very hard last year was singer Adina, so it was of no surprise when she bagged 10 nominations at the 22nd edition of the annual Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA22).

Adina was nominated in most of the categories based on her works on her debut album ‘Araba’ will be hoping to win a couple of the awards on the night including the ultimate, the ‘Artiste of the Year’ award.

Other nominations the ‘Why’ hit maker was nominated for includes; Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Songwriter of the Year, Collaboration of the Year, Best Music Video, Best Female Vocalist, Best Afrobeats/Afropop Song, Best Afrobeats/Afropop Artiste of the Year and Best Raggae/Dancehall Song of the Year.
