The second edition of the much publicized Made in Taadi concert initiated by Fante rapper Kofi Kinaata recorded an unprecedented number of attendees in the history of outdoor events in Takoradi and the whole of Western Region.
The show which occurred at the Jubilee Park in Takoradi and saw thrilling performances from some of the A-list artistes in the country as well as some ‘underground’ artistes, witnessed over 26,000 fans who cheered and jammed all night long.
Main artistes like Sarkodie, Donzy, Kofi Kinaata, Joey B, Edem performed on the night whilst up and coming artistes like Afezie Perry, Hindu, Singlet, King Lucaz, Aya, Qwesi Flex also gave a good account of themselves.
Kofi Kinaata and his team should be lauded for their yeoman’s job in ensuring that Takoradi became the focus of attention one more time with this historic concert.
We hope its gets better next year.
