Before you initiate a conversation, give subtle signal that you are really interested. Look straight into her eyes but do so sparingly. Never use the normal pickup lines guys use often. Lots of females are familiar with this technique so you might be rejected if you armed yourself with one. Be sincere and say something complimentary about her appearance. When you get rid of your own anxiety and low confidence, the conversation will flow naturally. If you have a good sense of humour, it will be hugely advantageous.
Be a good listener and attentive. Whenever she is through with a comment, ask a follow-up question. Keep the conversation informal and ‘conversational.’ Be careful not blab about topics that will piss her off. Example if she’s a supporter of John Mahama and you start mocking him in the wake of the NDC’s defeat in the recent election, you could ruin everything. When it’s time to close the conversation, employ an equally effective strategy so you don’t ruin your hard work. First offer a positive statement like, ‘I enjoyed your company.” You could possibly ask if she will be less busy on a particular so you could hook up again.
