The governor of Oyo State, Governor Seyi Makinde has confirmed one new case of Coronavirus has been recorded in his state.
He confirmed this on his Facebook account indicating that the new case is from Oluyole Local Government Area of the State.

In his post, he said;
“The COVID-19 confirmation test for one suspected case came back POSITIVE.
The case is from Oluyole Local Government Area. So, the total number of confirmed cases in Oyo State today is 318.
The Emergency Operations Centre will commence additional community-based testing at Ibadan South West and Ibadan North Local Government Areas today, Friday, June 05, 2020.
The community-based testing drive will take place in ten locations across the state.
