Just about a week or fewer days ago, actress Gloria Sarfo who is popularly known as Nana Ama from the hit Tv drama series Efiewura marked a milestone— the actress was a year older.

To celebrate the day, the actress did one of the kindest yet honourable thing there is. She actually took it upon herself to present gifts to some of the veteran actors and actresses who have been abandoned.

Beneficiaries included Fred Amugi, Waakye, Grace Omaboe, Grace Nortey, to mention but a few. The actress and TV presenter has been in a series of interviews after that.

In one with one Melvina Frimpong Manso, on Showbiz 971, Suncity Radio, she established she is who she is because her parents brought her up well.

“I owe my present steady and successful life to the kind of upbringing my parents gave. I will spend my last pesewa to put a smile on the face of the needy.”

She advised that the well to do should make it a must to inculcate the habit of giving to society.
