Gospel artiste, Gifty Osei who has garnered a lot of attention to herself with controversies falling on each other from her camp is in the news again for yet another negative induction.
The gospel Empress debuted a new hairstyle but Live FM’s pastor Michael Sagoe is not amongst the many hailing and lauding the new style.
According to pastor, she has to live a commendable lifestyle and that hairstyle simply is not appropriate. n an interview with the DAILY HERITAGE newspaper last Monday, Pastor Sagoe said;
“The Bible said we are supposed to dress in a way to influence people positively. But it’s unfortunate how some gospel musicians in Ghana are following the fashion trends, forgetting they are ministers of God.
The youth look up to these ministers of God ( a gospel musician or a pastor) and therefore their apparel must not catch attention because it is outrageous but should be moderate as Paul said in the scriptures how the women of old such as Sarah and Haggai dressed.
I also want the women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, adorning themselves, not with elaborate hairstyles or gold or pearls or expensive clothes.
Our purpose is to imitate Christ as Christians, Something Paul learned to do as recorded in 1 Corinthian 11:1.”
