The 8th edition of the annual Ghana Meets Naija Concert, powered by Empire Entertainment, went down successfully at the Accra International Trade Fair Center.

There were great performances from Sista Afia, Nana Yaa, Kuame Eugene, Patapaa, Ponobiom, Obibini, Kumi Guitar, KiDi, Dice, Tic Tac, Kurl Songx, Stonebwoy amongst others.

However there were some surprise packages for the audience. Most of the main artistes surprisingly brought on stage other musicians who were not originally part of the line-up.

Let’s take a look at them:

#1. King Promise and Mugeez

King Promise, real name Gregory Nii Bortey Newman did not bring his oversized shoes. He rather brought ace singer, Mugeez of R2Bees fame to do justice to his hit song, CCTV.

The pair did well to entertain the audience, who in turn cheered them on.

#2. Tic and KiDi

When KiDi performed with Mayorkun together we had no idea that the latter will exit to make way for rap legend, Tic (formerly called Tic Tac) to join KiDi on stage.

That’s what happened- and once he came up, he took patrons to the old school level, singing Fefenefe and Philomena Kpitinge to the delight of everyone.

#3. Stonebwoy and Asamoah Gyan

Stonebwoy performed for a while before Asamoah Gyan aka Baby Jet joined him on stage to perform their ever popular, Dirty Enemies.

Asamoah Gyan paused midway and attempted some freestyle and the applause was just unimaginable.
