Former 2nd lady and the wife of the late Vice President, Paa Kwesi Amissah Arthur, Matilda Nana Manye Amissah-Arthur has joined the campaign team of the Vice Presidential Candidate for the National Democratic Congress(NDC)Prof.Naana Jane in her four day tour in western region.
The former Second Lady is a very good friend of the vice presidential candidate for the NDC , Prof.Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang. she joined the campaign to help as she resides in the region.

Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa who is part of the campaign took to Facebook to reveal the presence of the former second lady Matilda;
“Beautiful and inspiring to see former Second Lady H.E. Matilda Amissah-Arthur join her good friend and NDC Running Mate Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang to campaign in the Western Region – her dear home region where she’s much loved. United for victory 2020”.
Matilda Nana Manye Amissah-Arthur was the 2nd lady during John Mahama administration.
