The General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Johnson Asiedu Nketia, has urged the people of Bassa, Okyeamekrom ,Atebubu and the numerous NDC supporters to take part in the ongoing voter exhibition exercise to enable them validate their names in the voters register ahead of the December elections.

Addressing separate rallies at Bassa, Okyeamekrom, Atebubu and Kwame Danso on Thursday, 17 September 2020, as part of John Mahama’s three-day tour of the Bono East Region ,Mr Asiedu Nketia said;

“Whether it was intentional on the part of the EC or an attempt to rig the elections for the NPP government, we can’t tell, but I’ll implore every NDC supporter and member to go and check your name at your polling station to make sure that your name is there and correctly spelt.”

Mr Asiedu Nketia has consistently criticise the electoral commision and their chairperson Jean Mensa on their works and decisions including the GHC100,000 filing fee for presidential candidates.
