The Ashanti Region Police Command has arrested alleged 10 National Democratic Congress (NDC) members in a robbery raid at Aboabo; a suburb in Kumasi, the capital of Ashanti Region.

However, the Police is yet to give the true reason why they have grabbed the said NDC members, but the Minority Chief Whip Muntaka Mubarak, who is also the Member of Parliament for Asawase has expressed his worry of the situation.

He said the 10 arrested persons are yet to write their statement of arrests, and so, hopes are that they will be bailed.

“The police have said they are looking for a particular person and they heard that person was hovering around. They showed me a video and when I watched it, the wanted person looks nothing close to near any of our boys.”

““I am very careful about those around me because I know all about the Vigilante Law. We are not putting up any vigilante group. These are young boys who handle the posting of our posters and they don’t engage in vigilante acts.” He stated.
