Sitting President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has urged Ghanaians to maintain the first position of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) on the ballot paper come December 7 at the election polls.
The President, who is standing as the Presidential Candidate for incumbent NPP, has on Wednesday 21 October, published a twitter post encouraging Ghanaians to maintain him at the first position in the result of the 2020 presidential elections.
He wrote “Number 1 on the ballot. Let’s maintain the first position on 7th December 2020 to do more for Ghanaians. Vote for Akufo-Addo and the NPP. #4MoreForNana.”
However, former Deputy Secretary of opposition National Democratinc Congress (NDC) has said candidates position on ballot paper does not guarantee win or lose.
