The Advisor on Health at the Presidency Dr. Antyhony Nsiah Asare has stated that the Free primary health policy suggested by former president John Mahama is an indication that he lacks understanding in the sector.


Speaking on Kumasi base Hello FM and monitored ghgossip.com ,Dr Nsiah Asare explained that the ruling NPP is committed to continue it effort in strengthening the National Health Insurance Scheme.

“What we the NPP are saying is, we are coming to strengthen the health insurance system so that it can provide all medical treatment it was intended to so that people would not have to suffer”. Dr. Nsiah Asare said.

Former President John Dramani Mahama has noted that his next government is going to provide free primary healthcare targeted at removing cost  barrier to health care and ensure health for all.
