Ghana Election 2020: George Opare Addo, National Youth Organizer for opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), says corruption has worsened under President Akufo-Addo led NPP government and that has pushed away Auditor General Mr. Domelove and Special Prosecutor Martin Amidu from their position of fighting corruption.
George Opare Addo took to his twitter page to share his sentiments on the rampage corruption scandals under the current Akufo-Addo corrupt government.
He added that, the only solution to eradicate corruption in the country is by bringing the NDC in power.
He wrote, “Amidu gone! Domelevo gone! Corruption worsens under Akufo-Addo. There’s only one way to end the unprecedented plundering of our national resources. Kick him and his criminal cartel out of office!”

President Akufo-Addo wrote to Auditor General to take his accumulated leave whiles he has not personally requested to go on leave. When he obeyed the order of the president and took his work leave, the NPP brought in another Auditor General instead. Meanwhile Mr. Domelovo has not retired from office.
Mr. Martin Amidu, the Special Prosecutor also resigned from his position with the reasons that, President Akufo-Addo is using his presidential power to interfere his investigation of corruption specifically, in the Agyapa Royalties deal.
