Ashanti Regional Secretary for ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Samuel Pyne has expressed his disbelieve on former President John Dramani Mahama’s utterances about Ghana’s security issues of late, asking him to behave like a former President.
“Take a look at how well former President Rawlings and Kufour conduct themselves. When they speak, you can easily comprehend that these are the seasoned utterances of a Statesmen.” He has said in an interview with Accra based Peace Fm Kokroo Morning Show.
According the Sam Pyne, Former President Mahama has been talking of insecurity about Ghanainains and blaming President Nana Akufo Addo and the current NPP administration for the recent security glitches in the country, pertaining to the killing of Mfantseman Member of Parliament, Honorable Ekow Quansah Hayford.

Moreover, the NPP Ashanti Regional Secretary says Presidential Candidate John Dramani Mahama of Opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) for the upcoming 2020 general election is propagandizing Ghana security issues for votes on December 7.
He added that, nothing that the former president is saying about security and insecurity are true. Therefore, he has asked Mr. Mahama to stop lying to Ghanaians and creating impressions of insecurity in the coutnry, but act like a former president.
