It’s obvious Ivorian legend, Freddy Meiway is the no-nonsense type. After revealing how he was disrespected by rap icon, Sarkodie when he blatantly refused to collaborate with him, he has called out Sarkodie again for apologizing to him via social media.

Recall that whilst in the country recently, the Zoblazo hitmaker told Joy Fm in exclusive interview that his attempt to work with Sarkodie proved futile as the Ghanaian rapper always erected one flimsy excuse or the other.

Subsequently, a remorseful Sarkodie took to social media to apologize profusely whilst explaining that he was waiting for the right moment to work with the African music star; his mistake herein is the fact that he couldn’t update Meiway on the development.

However, Meiway reacting to this new development, has described Sarkodie’s apology as unfortunate and a mark of disrespect on his part.

According to the Ivorian musician, Sarkodie apologized to the public but not him. Meiway explained to Joy News’ Doreen Avio that Sarkodie has his contact hence the best thing he should have done was to call and clarify things to him instead of spewing his mind on social media.

He siad:

It’s a mistake. The first time I wanted to work with him, I searched for his number and called him via phone.

I didn’t sit on social media.

So, if Sarkodie wanted to apologize for his inability to feature on my song, the best thing for him to do then was to call and explain things.
