The Lagos state governor, after he paid a visit to the hospitalized men and women who suffered severe injuries at the Lekki Toll Gate on Tuesday night made a tweet reaffirming the fact that the military carried out such heinous crime against humanity and also there was a higher power which could have stopped them.

His tweet reads;

This is the toughest night of our lives as forces beyond our direct control have moved to make dark notes in our history, but we will face it and come out stronger. I’ve just concluded visits to hospitals with victims of this unfortunate shooting incident at Lekki .

Nigerians believe the tweet clearly indicates that the attack was initiated by a higher authority. Again, he is not in charge of Lagos state as he poses as an “errand boy” for the higher power and limited to indirect controls such as removing cameras and turning off power sources to allow shooting of protestors.
