On Monday (June 5), Ghanaian children in Junior High School (J.H.S 3) are going to sit for their Basic Certificate Examination (BECE). However, students in Denkyira-Boase, the village where the soldier was murdered in cold blood could certainly miss the crucial exams.

Report says authorities are finding it difficult to assemble the final year students in the area to take part in the exams. The students are said to have fled with their parents leaving little hope of their participation in the exams which will give them access into secondary schools in the country.

Few students who were cited told reporters they are not in the right frame of mind to undertake the exams. The students who have been staying in the bushes with their parents fear they will be brutalized by soldiers who are peeved about the death of their colleague.
