Her support for the legalization of Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals, Transgenders, Queers, and Inter-sexed communities made her suffer from the trolls of Netizens as they descend on her on social media.

Today, 8th March 2021 is International Women Day, and Sister Derby decided to wish her LGBTQI community, specifically the gays.

She wrote; Happy International Women’s Day to ALL women: black, disabled, LGTBQI+, refugees and all other marginalized groups.#internationalwomensday2021#GenerationEquality#ChooseToChallenge2021#Women4Freedom#ChooseToChallenge

A fan who came across her tweet descended heavily on her for tagging gays as women.

The fan replied; L.G(gay).TBQI and u still wish them on women’s day… Since when did Gay become women.. Think ooo think before u post
