Ghanaian actor John Dumelo has been at the receiving end at the hands of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) fanatics and it’s absolutely pathetic that in this modern era these undemocratic tendencies persist in our dear country.

Ever since he and other famous celebrities publicly declared their allegiance to the National Democratic Congress (NDC), lots of NPP supporters have made unsavoury comments them and that what I find disturbing and unbecoming of the NPP.

The actor’s reputation was further damaged when he was alleged to have hoarded state vehicles. Against this backdrop a guy on Twitter Umar IDN Khattab tried to mock the actor soon after he posted a picture he captured with some kids in the Volta Region with the caption “the future…”.

In the picture, the actor is seen showing something to the children on his MacBook. Right after the tweet, Umar IDN Khattab who uses the handle Ericetse told the actor that he should sell his V8 car which was spotted somewhere at the corner of the photo because it can purchase MacBooks for all the kids.

John Dumelo aptly shot back, “My brother, the John Dumelo foundation has since 2009 touched over 55,000 kids across Africa. Same as buying 5 v8s…..”
