Ghanaian ace musician turned evangelist, Papa Shee born Nana Yaw Akosah has stated that it’s not biblical to refer to a pastor who is a human as your spiritual father.
Speaking in an interview on Cape Coast-based Kastle FM, he emphasized that God has asked him to educate people that they should never call a human being as their spiritual father.

He noted that the reason why people shouldn’t call anyone their spiritual father is because the only father Christians have is the one who created heaven and the universe.
He explained that many pastors across the globe are deceiving people that they are their spiritual fathers meanwhile God taught his children to pray with the popular ‘Our father who art in heaven’.
According to him, some self-acclaimed pastors who claim to be spiritual father end up claiming they own the blessings of people who makes them their spiritual father.

Papa Shee added that for that matter people are afraid because those pastors have made them know that once they lift their Blessing from their children they will lose everything to the extent that those pastors threatened to curse people if they disobey them.
