Nollywood actress, Stella Damasus has stated that Nigerians will not back down from protesting against police brutality in the country.
While in the United States, Stella Damasus lead a group of protesters as they paraded some streets in her area as they lend their voices to the many calling for the immediate scrap of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) and charge the government to ensure that police brutality comes to an end.
She wrote on Twitter ;
We are not backing down. We won’t stop protesting. So many unemployed graduates who are willing to sign up for law enforcement. Why circulate these drunk men and give them guns?
