Former politician, Diamond Appiah has reportedly sought legal actions against Onua TV’s Mona Gucci and Media General for defamation.

This comes after Mona Gucci took to her show to make some claims about Diamond Appiah which she wasn’t pleased with.
According to Mona Gucci, Diamond Appiah was adopted from an orphanage because her supposed father was impotent.
She also alleged that most of the things Diamond Appiah brags about on social media do not belong to her as she claims.
Fast forward, Diamond Appiah through her lawyers has written to Mona Gucci and Media General, suing them for defamation.
The writ demands that Mona Gucci causes an appearance to be entered for her within eight days upon receiving the letter.

In other news, Mr. Mark Okraku Mantey, the Deputy Minister-designate for Tourism, Arts and Culture has averred that theatrical works, both written and produced should be exported to other countries in order to make it a source of revenue for the country and the industry players.
He remarked during his vetting by Parliament’s Appointments Committee that supporting playwrights to tour other nations with their works brings in revenue not only for themselves but also for the government as well.
He said that this initiative will go a long way to assist the likes of Uncle Ebo Whyte and others who have their works played in the theatre tour other countries and on their return, they will bring foreign exchange.
