Peter Okoye a.k.a Mr. P of the now-defunct music group, P-Square has registered his displeasure on Desmond Elliot’s proposal on restricting social media in Nigeria.

According to Desmond Elliot, a politician and member of the house of representatives, Nigerians abuse social media by failing to use it for the purpose it was created.

He cited the Lekki shooting incident as proof of the abuse of social media by children (Nigerians) since they used it as a platform to insult their leaders.

Reacting to his comment, Mr. P said Desmond, whom he held in high esteem had disgraced him. According to him, the actor together with the other reps failed to address the Lekki shooting incident but spoke of regulating social media.
