Internationally celebrated Nigerian artist David Adeleke simply known as Davido has finally opened up on why he decided to extend a helping hand to embittered Dancehall singer Cynthia Morgan.
News about Cynthia Morgan regarding her ‘ruined’ music career flooded the internet after she surfaced on Instagram after years of being caged behind closed doors following her split with former manager Jude Okoye to lament about how she is battling depression.

Her story broke many hearts in Nigeria and beyond and some music lovers including celebrities joined to pledge their support for Cynthia Morgan’s as she expressed interest in rescusitating her dead career.
One such celebrity is arguably Nigeria’s biggest music export Davido who openly announced he wants to help Cynthia Morgan bounce back to the music industry.
“Tell Cynthia I got an anthem for her ….. I’ll record my verse now” he shared.

However, some Nigerians were shocked at his gesture looking at the insults Cynthia Morgan rained at him a few years back when she was in her prime.
Fans quizzed why Davido decided to help Cynthia Morgan after she called him a ‘fvck boy’ on social media but the DMW Records saw things differently even though she was accused of trying to chase clout using Cynthia Morgan‘s plight.

Taking to his Twitter page, the ‘Blow my mind’ hitmaker explained his reason for wanting to help Cynthia Morgan.
“Most important thing is that she has spoken and people are willing to help and she can be able to rewrite her steps and have another chance. That’s all that matters”, he wrote.
