Ace actress, Maame Dokono and David Dontoh were rumored to be items several years ago but they never denied or confirmed the story.
The two were often paired as husband and wife in the Obra series and other movies, and perhaps that was were the bond got established.
But in a recent interview, Maame Dokono, real name Grace Omaboe has said that she indeed dated David Dontoh aka Ghanaman for four years.
She disclosed this in an interview with Bola Ray on the Starrchat on StarrFM. She said David Dontoh “held me together and handled me well. At that time I was popular, beautiful and many, different men were all over me when I am on stage, so I needed someone to hold me”.
When the curious Bola Ray asked her whether they banged during that period, Maame Dokono answered in the affirmative, much to the delight of the listeners who were tuned in (evident in their text messages and contribution to the show).
The veteran actress revealed recently that she helped shaped the lives of Shatta Wale, Asamoah Gyan and Baffour Gyan when they very young.
