Social media has enhance freedom of speech which hitherto was rare in the traditional media landscape. Unfortunately users have abused the platform to write anything they feel like with impunity.
One Nigerian lady has made an incongruous statement by attacking the integrity of black women, saying ‘dark skin girls are naturally dirty, especially the fat ones.’
We actually don’t know the metric she used to arrive at this feeble analyses.
This lady identified Joy Bells, said this on Facebook thus:
“So is it just me.But I say DARK SKINNED GIRLS ARE NATURALLY DIRTY…esp THE FAT ONES”
Report we gathered indicates that few minutes after posting, she came back on Facebook to apologize for saying the above to dark skinned girls.
She claimed she just wanted to get on the nerves of a few girls on a certain group but it got out of hand with the post from blogs which made her feel bad.
