When celebrities from both Ghana and Nigeria launched a campaign against domestic violence which has raised its ugly head in recent times, Ghanaian actress, Vicky Zugah was one of those who spoke passionately about it. She went as far showing pictures which suggest she has also been a victim of domestic violence and thus urged all women to speak up against the canker. According to her, for the past four years, all three men she had dated abused her physically on countless occasions, bruising her face in the process.
It seems her noble idea has backfired as the men he claimed abused her have come to label as a liar and that she only wants attention. The latest person to launch another attack on the beautiful actress is the ever controversial counsellor Rev George Lutterodt.
The outspoken counsellor Lutterodt was stunned the actress slept with people she was not married to. “If Vicky Zugah, as beautiful as she is, could go into dating which leads to sekzual intercourse that is not dating. She has gone beyond dating and practicing sekzual intercourse while she is not married. Then she is practicing prostitution. If a man who has not paid your bride price impregnates you, we say he has made a fool out of you,” he said.
Counsellor Lutterodt further intimated that Vicky Zugah erred by allowing friends and family to influence her against reporting the abusive instances. He therefore asked the actress to “shut up.”
