A museum town in Mpumalanga known as Pilgrim’s Rest has been restored to its former glory.

According to Cairan Farnholt, community members worked together to get the town back to what it used to be. The town is known as a museum town and was established in the late 1800s; it is truly something out of a storybook.

Cairan shared some stunning images of the little town to Facebook’s #ImStaying group.
