Recall Caleb Kudah was the ‘talk of town’ about a couple of weeks ago when he was detained at the National Security head office in Accra after he allegedly took some video recordings of the premises with his phone.

His arrest was followed by some National Security operatives storming the premises of Citi FM and Citi television after their investigations after interrogating Caleb led to another staff of the media firm Zoe, who had allegedly received the video from Caleb via Whats App.

Caleb Kudah was detained for about 24 hours and after his released, publicly accused the National Security operatives for maltreating him at the time he was detained. Caleb alleged that he was beaten to a ‘pulp’ to the extend that he has to deny his ethnicity of being a Voltarian to avoid more beatings.

His revelations after the National Security detainment was met with a lot of mixed reaction from the general public and some colleague journalists alike. As many were siding with him and condemning the act by the National Security operatives, others too were of the opinion that the young journalist was over exaggerating.

Well Caleb has shared his life experience after the incident stating people are always gossiping about him everywhere he goes now. He said he was subject to ‘mockery’ today at the campus of University of Ghana by his own lecturers who couldn’t help it by to laugh at him over the incident.

He added that even some Basic school pupils were able to identify him at the journalist who was ‘beaten’ when he asked them why they are starring at him and if they know him somewhere.
