The Christ Evangelical and Life Intervention Ministry in Kaduna state has already started donating foodstuff to some Muslims to enable them have enough food during the 30-day fasting.
The church is continuing its tradition of donating foodstuff to the Muslim Ummah during Ramadan in the last few years.
The head pastor of the church in his speech said that;
“This is the fourth time the church is sharing bags of grains and other foodstuff to large numbers of street beggars, internally displaced person, children in orphanages and Muslim prison inmates.
We do this in order to strengthen peaceful co-existence and religious tolerance among different faiths to live in peace and harmony according to the teachings of the holy books. We must remember that we worship one God, and we are from the family of Adam and Eve, therefore we must join hands to support each other.”
