Nigerian singer Simi has made it clear that children of God do not need any marks since it is not what really shows that they belong to God.
The banter ensued w hen Johnny Drille took to his Twitter page and made the statement that he can’t fully trust people if their WhatsApp ‘read receipt’ is off. This tweet lead Simi to react and caused a lot of people to also notice and react.
Johnny Drille wrote: “I’m going to say it again, I can’t fully trust you if your WhatsApp ‘read receipt’ is off. You either read and respond to my message or you don’t. Do it with your chest lol”
Simi repled and wrote: “What is going to happen is you gon have to come and beat me”
A woman who is close to Simi also relied and wrote: “No wonder the blue Mark doesn’t show when I send messages to you on WhatsApp. Chai, this girl is not nice. Now I know. Wow”
Simi then replied the woman and wrote: “Lmaoooo children of God don’t need any mark”
