Author and lawyer Reno Omokri was silenced by a savage reply from nollywood actor Yul Edochie when be blamed the movie industry for the evil picture they have painted of Nigerians to the outside world.

Reno’s argument was that the influx of “juju” related movies has contributed to the bad reception Nigerians receive abroad. He backed his claim with an experience he had in San Francisco, America.
He said that he was walking in town with popular nollywood actor, Kanayo O. Kanayo when a woman spotted him. Thinking she would like to take a picture, the woman screamed at him when he reached for his camera saying, “you want to use my photo for juju”.
According to him, hollywood movies gives viewers the zeal to travel abroad whilst Nollywood movies makes one hate the country.
Well, his submission didn’t sink in with the son of the lion, Yul Edochie reacted saying that nollywood is not responsible for the broken country and that he should not blame them. He further asked him if he (Reno) has stopped applying for American visa after watching violent American movies.
